Job Description: Subcontractor Administrator

Location               Houston, TX

Objective

The position of Subcontractor Admin will perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties related to subcontractor necessary to run an organization efficiently.

 

Regular Job Duties

  1. Verify all subs have valid and current insurance
  2. Verify all subs have submitted their Certified Payrolls (a requirement of their contract)
  3. Verify all subs are submitting waivers in order to collect payment each month
  4. Verify subs are paying their subs/vendors and they have no current claims against Webber
  5. Release payment to subs when they are in compliance
  6. Generate and submit monthly DBE reports as a requirement of our contract with the client
  7. Generate and submit Prompt Pay forms as a requirement of our contract with the client

 

Qualifications

  1. Associate's degree is preferred; experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  2. SharePoint and Microsoft Office O365 experience is a plus
  3. Construction experience is considered a plus
  4. Proficient in Excel is a plus (pivot tables, vlookups, etc..)
  5. Ideally 5+ years of experience working with subcontractors
  6. Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications
  7. Moderate to high level of computer skills
  8. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  9. Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature. Some exposure to outdoors with changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind
  10. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers
