This position will make a significant contribution to the company and to the projects served by purchasing materials and services at the right time, in the proper quantity, and at the lowest possible cost.

 Job Duties

  1. Report directly to the Procurement Manager and support all purchasing and material control for regional projects.
  2. Participate in the Buyout Meeting to prioritize responsibilities for project-specific purchases
  3. Develop, negotiate, and administer subcontracts and purchase orders:  development of Request for Proposal, analysis and evaluation of vendor quotations, drafting of the vendor contract including the commercial terms and conditions
  4. Guide and support the project managers in material receiving procedures, staging, and storage of materials in laydown yards, deliveries, packing, tracking, updating the fixed assets log, safety, and quality
  5. Work with regional accountants to reconcile supplier invoices: material prices, freight charges, late and/or missing payments
  6. Issue RFP's for sub and supplier change orders, perform quote comparisons, and draft contracts.
  7. Understand and communicate impacts of market changes, as well as adjust strategies to maintain procurement goals


  1. At least 5 years industry experience in construction or purchasing and procurement
  2. High level of computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, and Docusign
  3. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization and with external vendors/suppliers
