Overview:

The IT Procurement & Cost Analyst will manage the daily operations and strategic objectives of Webber IT department's procurement, billing and cost tracking for technology devices.   Assist IT management with the annual budget and forecast, as well as managing new employee account setup for onboarding process.  This incumbent reports directly to the Director of Enterprise Solutions. 

This position requires working with suppliers, evaluating and negotiating contracts to find the best deals for equipment needed; maintaining report with users and technicians; and being the main contact for the department.

Job Duties: 

  1. Negotiate with vendors/suppliers to acquire the best products at the best price.
  2. Administer purchase orders per company procedure.
  3. Ensures purchased products are delivered in a timely manner, and the quality of the goods received is satisfactory.
  4. Coordinate with IT technicians to setup and deliver equipment.
  5. Obtain invoices, code invoices, track invoices and request appropriate approvals
  6. Prepare billing to affiliates and intracompany on a monthly basis according to corporate financial close schedule
  7. Review and analyze the company technology holding center department financial results for accuracy
  8. Manage mobile phones billing, usage, device orders/assignment, provide basic technical support and liaison between vendor and the company.
  9. Manage copiers - place new orders, track deliveries, keep up with contracts & equipment locations, direct users to correct channel for support, liaison between company and vendor.
  10. Assist IT manager with the annual budget and forecast processes. Provides necessary financial reports to IT management
  11. Manage invoices related to enterprise applications implementation following capitalization policies
  12. Collaborate with corporate accounting and finance departments in regard to departmental costs, billings and audits
  13. Understand and work to help others comply with policies and procedures
  14. Manage employee asset tracking for IT devices using UltiPro HR/Payroll system.
  15. Assist IT management with expense report receipts
  16. Write reports, business correspondence and project documents.
  17. Perform special projects are requested by management

Requirements:

  1. BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Purchasing or Engineering
  2. Knowledge of proper accounting treatment for capitalization, billings and cost analysis is a plus
  3. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Successful in dealing with customer, vendors, and company personnel at all levels
  5. High level of proficiency operating Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  6. Experience with SAP application is a plus
  7. Previous construction industry experience is a plus.
  8. Advanced computer skills and ability to train others in system usage is preferred.
  9. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  10. Reliable, patience and professionalism.
  11. Demonstrated track record in managing multiple assigned duties, taking responsibility, and collaborating with others
