Description:
The position of Design Document Control Manager will under limited supervision manage and perform administrative and clerical functions related to the document control procedures of the Design Department in an office environment.

Duties:
- Compiles and maintains control records and related files to preliminary design blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents and works with other operating departments while exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
- Examines documents, such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications, to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
- Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.
- Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents, and notifies affected departments.
- Maintains related files and serves as back up to other document control positions.
- May prepare requests for reproduction of documents.
- May operate reproduction equipment.
- May prepare reports and memorandums.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar administrative positions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Effective communication skills in writing and typing.
- Effective organization skills.
